wonky wednesday

i haven't BLOGGED in quite a while.
the past month of february was quite eventful:

My friend and I dressed up like men, went out to Old Town Pasadena on Valentine to pick up a conversation with lonely gals hanging out at bookstores and coffee shops. This might sound a little creepy, but I think we did pretty well for the night; I wouldn't complain with 2 more digits on my phone.
One of my best friends (from Canada) Laura came over for one week; we went to Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles, (checked out FIDM) cruised around Old Town, and mainly watched "The Hills" and "Gossip Girl" on my computer, laying on my bed and eating Pringles, which was all good.
A week after she left, I got into a car accident, which isn't something I'd like to remember, but definitely a reminder to self; GET A HELMET AND WATCH OUT ON THE ROAD.

I have also stopped talking to my old gal Bobbi Jo, which happened so suddenly because of complications. I still feel kinda empty, but I'm willing/hoping to push through sometime soon.

I also purchased a black wheel and a cog, a white tire, and a white chain for my bicycle. Cost me nearly 3oo dollars. Yikeeez. (I will put a picture of her pretty soon.)

I also had a real tough time with FedEx shipping shoes for my friend Ryan's birthday present. It went nearly a month after his birthday, which was lame but I hope he gets it this time fo realz.

There's many more things that happened that were eventful but it's 2:30 am and I'm doing homework.

blah

my laundry is piled up, my room is messy, my desk is full of art, and my stomach is empty.
is this how it's supposed to be? is there a better way of doing this than mine? i'm going to try another way. perhaps a cleaner way.

not much has been up in my life, other than the fact that the classes i'm taking are pretty intensive, and i dont have much time on the computer nor my bike. i have a good feeling about this semester though, i feel as if though these classes might be my big stepping stones towards my entry portfolio.

back to the life

i am back in california.
i ride my bike many times throughout the day.
i'm taking 2 classes. they're very intensive, and extreme, which i love.
i would really like to get a pet. a buddy i can hang with at all times. seriously thinking abut getting a dog. i think i can do it.
i'm drawing a lot now, getting back into the mode.
i'm watching randy pausch and eating popcorn on a early sunday morning...

time to draw tomorrow

my new found love.

i've recently discovered a new interest/hobby: ROAD BICYCLES (FIXED-GEAR ROAD BICYCLES TO BE EXACT.)

fixed-gear road bicycles, also known as "fixies",
are single-gear bicycles which the paddles turn as the wheels do.

they are quite hard to ride, but so much fun to customize.
i am currently in the process of painting the back rim of my fixie a neon yellow.
i have already switched the drop-bars straps from a black to a mixture of red and black camouflage like patterns.

the frame itself is baby blue, (which i believe represents OLD SKOOL) and on the front forks of the bike, it reads: "ride tuned N' gauged".

every time i ride, it gives me a sense of freedom, an awareness for the environment, and a very good exercise.

surprisingly enough, it has changed my thoughts on some things in life, such as:

- cars are probably the worst inventions ever to have been created in this world. (except for cars that are DESIGNED, not manufactured.)
- i would actually like to go up to a tree one day and hug it good for about 5 minutes, then say "thank you."
- NOLS sounds like an awesome thing to do for the summer.
- professional fixie-r?
- no chris.
- need to get fit, need to quit smoking cigarettes.
- join the Los Angeles Midnight Ridazz

i think it's a good start.

p.s; what should i name her?
open to suggestion.

girls.

they are very weird creatures.
as soon as you think you can tell what's going on inside their head, they knock you back into reality.

i've been on and off with my female companion for quite some time now, and i still can't quite decide what to do about her and i. one day i can pass a day without even thinking about her, another day she is constantly on my mind.

being back home and seeing her for the first time in 4 months, sparked something up in our relationship... yet neither of us know where we will end up in the end. i hate feeling this feeling. i hate not knowing what will happen to her and i.

this is a very weird feeling for me. something i have never felt before.

i feel insecure, scared, lost, and i hate it.

maybe one day i'll wake up and this will all just be a dream.
