oh everyone here is so kind,
could i possibly ignore the sign?
what signs? the shine? or apples of pine?

a doobie from a hobo cost me 2 georges,
and can i say you have never looked so gorgeous.

just gonna hang on the bright side,
i want to guide my own life.

im the one to judge?
you make me wanna say fudge..
im gonna forget and eat a whole baguette.. with strawberry cream cheese.

the train breeze feels nice,
after class the dinner is rice,
gonna add some sauce and spice

what the hell did i just write?
i dont give a spi'zike.

2010.

two thousand and ten.
it feels like yesterday when people were hyped up about the millenium.
now we're in its double digits, which kinda scares me a little bit.

for me, the year of 2009 was VERY hectic.
i've had to deal with things that i thought i never would, learned maybe too many lessons, and fought my way (sometimes literally) into the real world. the year 2009 was also one of the most important year of my life so far, because of my decision in switching my major to illustration. i felt like i found myself through these interactive classes. they helped me disregard the bullshit, and guided me to discover my real passion in art. illustration would not only help me express who i am and what i do, but relate my thoughts and feelings to the world, which is the part that excites me the most. the feeling of people looking at your pieces, and feeling a certain way is something that can only be attained by the artist himself. depending on my stroke of the brush, contrast in values, composition, i have the ability to make a person feel a certain way, and different for another- it is the most brilliant and respectable way to communicate. i also love the fact that art is always a process- and the outcome of the process depends entirely on the artist. to find the soul of each piece, i think is most rewarding about creating art.. i have some theories like this about art and life in general, but you're just going to have to wait till i feel like typing again.

my point is, im very content with the major i've chosen, and it will be a easy hill from here and on. but it will still be a hill.

i've most definitely learned from the year of 2009- now the year 2010 is to take that knowledge and experience, and define something valuable for the future. here i come!

crazy

it's an early friday morning, 2:38 AM.
im making some potato patties. i can hear them sizzling on george.
good ol' george foreman. every time i use it, i ask myself: what 'haven't' i cooked on this grill?
WHAT a purchase..

i've been getting busier and busier with school work, now that i have classes everyday except sundays. train ride to the heart of LA.. every monday, wednesday, friday, and saturday. art center classes on tuesdays and thursdays.. i think it's fair to say that i have a fuck load of work to get done.. hence the cancellation of my trip to colorado this winter break.

despite the disappointment, i'm hoping to push through this term with success. i feel like i've been confused about my feelings as an artist, where i want to stand in this career, and how i can develop my own expressions and questions towards subjects and categories of our society, and its people. i'm off the bench, and ready to play again. im confident about the classes i'm signed up for, and it will be up to me to make something of this opportunity, and to prove to myself and others what i can bring to the table, and also, how much i can bring. after this semester i will be able to have some time for myself. i'm still giving careful thoughts about my future plans. but as of right now, i've got some business to handle.

i wanna

get back into this blogging shit again

who knows? maybe i'll miraculously remember doing this and come back and read them all over again, given the fact that i remember my e-mail address, which is old enough.

my rear tire popped on my way to skool today, fucking sucked ass.
it happened right before the fucking hill up to the school, stretches about a mile at 30+ degrees. its hard as SHIT and i have to do it every fucking tuesdays and thursdays. i ended up walking up the hill at pitch black with my tail light flashing, while cars flew up the hill one by one.

that..
made me feel like SHIT. i need a fucking car, i said to myself.
GOD i sound so egoistic. ah.
i buy all this art supplies and i can't carry half of them because all i have to fill is my tiny backpack so i can get on my fucking bicycle to class.
but then again at least i won't get fat and sick like most of the people that go to my school lacking exercise and healthy food, content with nintendo wii, and dollar menus all day.

i really need to go to sleep now.

i swear

nobody said this shit was gonna be easy but i'm REALLY takin' it now.

i have a close friend named alex. he lives 3 blocks away. he used to live in a little apt complex first floor, met some cool neighbors up top, moved in with them right after summer.

alex's new room mate though.. named kahlin or whatever.. is REALLY starting to get on my nerves. i don't think i actually 'hated' a person until now. his racist jokes are what gets me the most. he literally lives off of being an asshole to everybody, and he seems to enjoy every minute of it. even his other room mate says he has four friends who don't come over anymore because they'd rather not deal with kahlin. he is so overly immature, insecure, and attention-deprived, he pushes people away before he is left behind.. which i'm sure he has all the right reasons to do so, it still doesn't make it right. and i'm pretty confident as to knowing what is right and what is too much. alex just got the cutest puppy two days ago, which makes it all more difficult for me because i am obsessed with dogs, hence my friend's dog, hell yeah. anyway..

okay BUDDY..i understand the fact that you're in the whole 'rap' shit and trying to make your name out there. i also understand the fact you think you're bad-ass, and you wanna act all funny and witty with your racist jokes, but DO realize when you cross the line, before you hurt yourself and others. you're young, black, independent, and a virgin. that probably explains a lot.

okay, maybe i'm stereotypical. but whos to say you're not, you racist fuck?

i HATE hate blogs. but this one had to be done. call me a hypocrite, i'll pass this time
